How to reach the desk, and what to expect back.Last updated: Oct 1, 2026
We read every message, and we would like to hear from you, whether you have found an error, have a story idea or simply disagree with something we published. This page explains which address to use and what happens next. All addresses on the site are placeholders during the launch edition and will be confirmed before full launch.
Which address for what
- [email protected]: general feedback, reader notes, corrections and questions about stories.
- [email protected]: story pitches and tips from writers. Please read the Submit a Story page first.
- [email protected]: questions from journalists and requests for brand material.
- [email protected]: partnership and sponsorship enquiries. See the media kit for our rules.
- [email protected]: questions about data, the privacy policy and your device storage.
Write the addresses into your email app by hand if you prefer; the form on this page simply opens your own email program with a message ready to send.
What to expect
We aim to read messages within a few working days. That is a goal, not a guarantee, as the launch-edition desk is small. We may not reply to every message, particularly those that are general praise or promotional. We will always prioritise corrections.
Corrections
If you think we got something wrong, tell us. Include the title of the story, the passage you believe is incorrect and, where possible, a link or description of a source that shows the issue. We will check, fix what is wrong, and add a clear note at the foot of the story describing what changed. Our Editorial Code covers this in more detail.
What we cannot help with
- Personal advice: we cannot offer medical, legal, financial or tax advice, even where a story touches on those subjects.
- Product support: we do not make or sell software, and cannot help with other companies' products.
- Takedown disputes: if you believe an image or text infringes your rights, say so and describe the work; we will look into it promptly.
Sending sensitive information
Ordinary email is not a secure channel. If you plan to share something sensitive, say that in a short first message instead of attaching documents, and we will talk about how to proceed. Please do not send personal data about other people unless you have a good reason and the right to do so.
